OES updates for ZLM 7.3

Hello just playing with ZLM 7 for the first time and I have a general question.

I have configured zlmmirror to mirror all SLES10 SP2 and OES2 SP2 updates to my ZLM server.

I have one test server (the ZLM server) which is a base SLES10 SP2 install, no OES2 services.

I have assigned the ZLM server to a server group which is inturn assiged to all the zlmmirror updates mentioned.

Even though I don't have any OES2 services installed several eDirectory and NICI updates are available for install. I assume this is because the ZLM 7.3 IR1 server runs a native eDirectory service but is it inadvisable to install these updates? Should I wait for these updates to be wrapped up into a ZLM update?
