Default Creating a simple recovery partition ZenWorks 7

I do desktop support for a public school system and we got a bunch of laptops donated to us and my boss asked me to create an image for them, but to also figure out a way to create a bootable recovery partition as well on them so teachers and/or students could reload the image in there was a problem. He wants this to hopfully cut down on calls to the help desk for that very reason.

I'm brand new to the team and have almost no exposure to ZenWorks outside of loading an image.

My thought was to create the image with a 4GB partition or so and place a copy of the image on that drive.

C:\ would have the image installed as operating system
F:\would have studentimage.zmg

If a student booted his/her laptop to the F drive, would ZenWorks know what to do with it?

I haven't tried this at all and have NO IDEA if this is even the reality of ho it works, I'm just been thinking about it and how it might work.

I've asked other tech and none of them have done this and are interested in seeing how it'd be done.

Any help/suggestions/advice would be appreciated!
