Mandatory baseline re-distributing old patches

Hello,
I have had a mandatory baseline setup for my XP workstations for well
over a year now. Today all of a sudden all of the old patches that were
still in the specified baseline started re-distributing to all the XP
workstations, even the units that originally had them installed.

Does anyone know what would cause this or what I can do to resolve the
issue? Right now I have A LOT of patches re-deploying all at once to
workstations that had already been patched!
