debugon switch on Server console

Hi,
I have been looking for some documentation regarding the debugon switch
that can be used at the server console.
The primary reason use for us has bee nto use the resolve function and to
capture the consoleoutput to the log file to capture errors on shutdown
of ZFS.
Is there any documentation on the extra switches that you get when using
debugon ?
