Default forcing a subscriber to read a distribution again

Hi,
We have been noticing that some of our subscribers in Imanager's tiered
Distribution view show up as not having recieved a distribution or if
they show that they have recieved the distribution that the distribution
has not been extracted.
When I go to the Subscriber I can see that the Distribution is there and
that it has
Distributionstatus.ted
seqxtrct.sts

Is there a way to force a subscriber to re-extract the distribution and
update the entry in imanager ?

The Only way I have found to do this so far is to
1. delete both the Distributionstatus.ted and the seqxtrct.sts and to
force a re-distribution from the distributor. It will not push the files
as they are there but it will unpack ?
I was looking for a way to just force the refresh on a single subscriber
without having to go to the distributor ;-)))
Thanks in advance for your help and knowledge on this.
Jules ;-)))
