Default Windows event log alert flood

Hi there,
We have ZFS agent installed on w2k3 server and we get SNMP alerts to our console just fine but to many occurrences of the the same alert. Pulling a redundant power cable caused 147 emails to be sent. The server's event log shows these 147 identical events, therefore you could say this is working as designed. We'd just like one email sent not 100+!

The Windows NTTRAP.INI file does not have an "Interval" setting like the NWTRAP.CFG file for NetWare that limits the number of identical traps per interval. Any clever ideas out there for getting this under control?

Cheers,
Kirk
