Log file names

Is it possible to somehow put wildecards in log file names. What I
basically want is to start a new log file every day as our Distributor
log files are quite big (we are having ZFS issues so logging is
currently set to Level 6). At the moment log files can be anywhere from
100Mb to 2GB.
