So how exactly did Novell want the resolution implemented? I can see using ZSM to copy the software, but how do you monkey with the bundle? Or did they end up creating separate bundles for each site (in which case, IMO, no point in using a satellite server because we can already do that now and point the data to the NSS volumes on the NetWare servers that are local to each regional site). Other than the fact I really dislike having to maintain 35 copies for each bundle.

They can do 1 of two things, both using a single bundle for the enterprise...1) Using drive letter and mapping drives at each location through login script, 2) Using system variables in the path for content location, and at each site having the variable set appropriately. By having the directories' security allow read/filescan for Anonymous Login (windows shop), then they can have apps install by system or DLA.
