Hello all: I would like to give my users a quick search
tool similar to google search for our internal documents.
We have upwards of 60,000 (I'm sure this is not large to
many) documents, mostly openoffice files, which I would like
to index and search.

The kick of course would be using ACLs to restrict search
output to only authorized files. It would be bad if an
employee to get a listing of file names even if they could
not open them.

I thought maybe quickfinder would work but that appears to
be only for hosted web docs, correct??
