Sage Line 50 (accounts package) was recently upgraded to version 12...and
I'm having a problem with it that seems to be related to NetWare (client or
server, I'm not sure).
When a Sage company is loaded into the new version Sage converts it to
version 12 format automatically. When this process is done with a company
stored on a NetWare server (6.5 SP2), two files go missing in the process
(DEPARTM.DTA and PCTRANS.DTA for those interested).
Doing the same thing on a local hard disk or a drive connected to a Windows
server works OK. In fact, the conversion is considerably faster on both.
Does anyone have any ideas? Client caching and Oplocks are disabled on the
server. The volume is NSS.
