So I'm watching the chattering class address that the major parties have
pledged to discourage the use of the 527 so-called "swift-boat" style ads.
The media seems to say, "how can they be stopped or dissuaded?"

So, I think one could make a "free-speech" claim, or a censorship claim if
the stations told the 527s "no". But don't they tell others 'no", such as
porn sites, false advertising, etc? Or is there some other rubric that this
falls under?

I guess the question is, do they have to take the money or allow the ads
under some other law? (please no politics or media bashing).

Just curious.
