Hello everyone,

I'm getting the following error on eDirectory 8.8 SP8 running on Windows
Server 2012 R2 sP1

There is a process that queries eDirectory through LDAP for user
objects, passwords and some other attributes related to the application

At some point, eDirectory shows this error in the application logs NDS
error: insufficient buffer (-649)

I have read several of the posts and it seems to be fixed in earlier
versions. Like one of the post stated, when that condition is reached,
not even the java ldap browser can connect. It also throws:

09:38:27 AM: Failed to connect to ldap://
Root error: [LDAP: error code 80 - NDS error: insufficient buffer

Some talked about changing the CIS size...

I checked this TID in the KB ...
https://www.netiq.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=3018646 . This is where I
found the Security Services 2.0.6.

In some TIDs the fix was to deploy new Security Services 2.0.6 patch,
but in the patch's page said "only for 8.8. SP2" ...

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
