It never rains it pours :-)

Never happened. They had the east coast of Australia leaving work early
to go haome and clean up the back yard and the winds would have had
trouble blowing out a candle.

Better to be safe than sorry though.

Yeah, definitely.

We're apparently getting some of the chop from the weather front
battering you guys - though we are just getting gail force warnings in
the North and snow warnings to the south.

We are now just getting very cold winds.

I poured 2 litres of water over my front windscreen this morning and
there was still ice all over it.

We usually only get 2 or 3 frosts a year.

Give me rain, sleet, or hail - any day over cold winds :-)

We normally get heaps here, but it's only been in the last couple of
weeks that we have really had them - and that is including last year.
But then, up until a couple of weeks ago you wouldn't have thought we
were in winter...
