I'm supposed to wear this every day.

'Care Rehab' (http://carerehab.com/tens.html)

It feels different

I had SLAP3 tear surgery January. The actual damage to the cartiledge
is no longer hurting, but the supporting muscle keeps developing knots
and cramps. Very painful.

It is hoped that the tens machine will retrain the muscles and cause
the pain to go away.

It sends electrical pulses to the muscles to cause them to contract.
I've been going to physical therapy since the end of January and I've
done excercies every day. The muscles still knot up and I get cramping.

Oh, keep us posted! My mom needs similar surgery that she's been able to
postpone with PT - so far anyway.

Good luck, and I hope it works for you!
