The Rotary Club I was Charter President of is holding its 25th anniversary
banquet tonight. I have rented a tux, the car sparkles shiny clean, a sitting
with the photographer is set and I just had a manicure. First one ever. Quite an
different feeling.

Why'd you skimp out and not get the pedicure too? ;)

Have fun in the monkey suit... something tells me... you will.

Thought about it. But, seeing as we have a Cadillac already ...
We did something for our wedding that was unheard of back then, we rented a limo
to take us to our hotel. Now, everybody does that.

That was only one of many pictures tonight. I want a copy of the picture that had
17 out of 25 past presidents that attended tonights affair. It was funny setting
up for that picture. If you can imagine a bunch of folks that are used to being
in charge trying to get set up for something like that.

I have no problem imagining that. I worked for sea Captains for
awhile, in my misspent youth. 14 of them, all at once. Board meetings
were always interesting. : )

<shaking head>Lindsey, just because "manicure" has the word "man" in it
doesn't mean it's for men...

the belle of the ball. Sadly, in the pictures that p[osted of the night, none had
her in them. I knew I should have taken my digital.

Ye, it's a shame you didn't get a photo of her. A photo of the two of
you together would have been great. : )
