Or whatever it's called now.

I'm looking for the edir 8.8 plug-in for ConsoleOne. Actually I'd be
happy with being able to find any plug-in for ConsoleOne - any version.

If Novell doesn't start being more cooperative I'm going back to
Slackware and phpGroupware. That'll teach them.

Grumble. Grumble. Grumble.

BTW. I was drawing a blank spelling "cooperative". Did a Google search
for "corroperative". Apparently so do a lot of people.

Do they make one? I see an 8.7 plugin for C1 and 8.8 for iManager.

Does that mean GW doesn't work on edir 8.8?

The bleading edge has that name for a reason I guess.

So how comes it you can find a plugin and I can't. Why can't I enter
ConsoleOne as a search word and it doesn't come back with every version of
ConsoleOne ever made plus every plugin? Why can't I put in plug-in and
get back every plug-in for every product that has ever used one? Why does
Novell hate me so? I try to be good. I don't smoke and I don't chew
and I don't go with girls that do.
Dropping to his knees, our hero raises his fists to the sky and shouts
a disparing, "Whyyy?!?!"

And now a word from our sponser...

I need to be quiet as I just realized how dangerously close to support
we were there. I just went to the downloads page and put in Consoleone
for the category and no search terms. Tried the same for edirectory.

I believe it should... but for a more definite answer, please post in
the GW forums. :-)

Try "snapins" instead of "plugins"..........

If you want to search for ConsoleOne snpins at download.novell.com, simply
select "ConsoleOne" as product and don't use any extra search term.
This will bring you to:

http://download.novell.com/index.jsp?product_id=&search=Search&build_type=SDBuildBean&families=2647&version=&date_range=&keywords=&x=23&y=7

However, the real answer to your question is not to use
download.novell.com for ConsoleOne snapins at all. This has nothing to do
with possible inadequacies of download.novell.com, but simply with the
fact that most product groups that have ConsoleOne plugins are too lazy to
always make a separate download package for the ConsoleOne plugins.

The result of this is that you will find very few up to date ConsoleOne
snapins (only the ZENworks plugins, and only thanks to Shaun).
Apart from this, you have a few very outdated snapins (Cluster serviuces
1.7, eDirectory 8.7.0 ...). However most of the snpins are simply
completely missing. (where are the Groupwise snapins? Where are the dozen
or so NetWare 6.5 snapins? ...)

The *only* reliable source of ConsoleOne snapins are the products (and the
latest SPs or patches thereof) that include ConsoleOne snapins.
