When I think i paid $300 for another Windows Mobile Phone I wouldn't think
so .. I intend this phone to be the last for 3-4 years.

1st day drained the battery .. spent 10 hours demong internet phone etc etc
etc.

today .. on 1 charge I'm still 50%, and I've been showing it off again .. My
other phone.,. an 8125 is at 60% charge .. so comparably its pretty
impressive ..

I talked for over an hour tady so charge/battery wise Im very impressed.

they call it a "sculpture" ... it is very smooth, beautiful and functional
... I love the calendar .. just not getting it synced properly yet.

HAve it linked to gmail, .mac mail and they say exchange will come soon.

Google ,maps is beyond belief .. fast and perfect...

its like a small computer ... wait .. it is .. with a phoen to boot.

Sounds like it has pretty good battery life. Does it have GPS for Google
maps?

How is the typing on the virtual keyboard? Seems like the keys are
close together and small.

Did you have to sign up for a year's subscription for it or something?
Someone told me that was necessary - is it? : )

No different than any thing else I;ve used .. after all the hype on how bad
it would be I was impressed .. it works perfectly and has some instictive
design .. being software can be improved .. as far as a show stopper .. not
even close .. its more than usable and smart too ..the corrective action is
better than anything I have ever used.\

I ahve cingualr family plan, so pay an additional $20/month under a typical
2 yr package .. just like any other phone .. no difference ..people I have
shown it too ( including a couple of local famous people are so impressed I
should be a salesman ) ..

If you get the chance .. get a hands on demo .. you will appreciate the
difference over any phone you may have ever used .. it just is what life
needs ..

I mentioned it in another thread, I paid $400 for my 8525 back in
November. Its still the best WM5 phone out there, which isn't saying
much... I don't agree that the iPhone is overpriced.

Take it easy! After 300 battery cycles you have to mail it back to
Apple for replacement. Wonder if they send you a spare phone to use...

Yep, xda-developers rock! Finally all of the features work. :)

The thing I hate most about it is the battery life... But I'll still
wait for version 2.0 of the iPhone, I need to get more mileage out of
this 8525.
