Having a good day and am doing fairly well. Slow but steady progress on the
recovery. I'll write more in a day or two.

I've been hiding out in Calif. I still check in on the group now and
then and think I'm ready to "go public" again.

Thanks, Dan. How did you know what I'm wearing? Are you spying on me
through the monitor? :-)

You know Dan doesn't need monitors, John; he has all those nice friends with
the fancy sunglasses and the black helicopters......

Good to hear, John, and *very* happy birthday. Those of us who have almost
missed some know how precious they are!!

Always, my friend, always....
Has something to do with living under the flight training routes for the
Navy out of Norfolk, the Marines out of Quantico, and the Army and Air Force
out of Hampton, not to mention the low-level evasion course for the Virginia
National Guard. Had a nice flight of 14 Longbows go over about 15 min. ago,
low enough to read the registration numbers.....
Impressive little toys, those are.....

Interestingly, none of my Active Duty assignments required me to be in
that area, except as a transit point between flights at Dulles or D.C.
National airports...
