    Soap Request

If you are using GW7 SP1 , could someone try this to your soap enabled
    postoffice: http://x.x.x.x:7191/soap

    Do you get:

    HTTP/1.1 200 Date: Mon, 24 Jul 2006 17:23:41 GMT Server: NetWare GroupWise
    POA 7.0.1 Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 268 Pragma:
no-cache 59905Bad parameter passed to a NCSP function

Yes. That is why I get. Why are you wanting to know? All this shows is
that SOAP is working and that you didn't tell it do to anything :-)

I can't enter the GMS trusted app key into the admin console GUI.

This is the actual error when I try to enter the trusted app key:

Unable to connect to GW server http://x.x.x.x:7191/soap 53509 Directory
    Services Data missing

I thought it might have something to do with soap 59905Bad parameter

note: The trusted App key did work on a NW5.1 box last week. I just upgraded
to NW6.5 and now it won't work.

    Ah, I see.

Good guess, but I don't believe so. That is a generic error you get when
you don't pass any parameters at all to the soap engine.

Strange. Unfortunately I have not tried to install GMS as a trusted app
(groupwise authentication is good enough for me). If no one jumps in
with a bright idea you might have to open an incident with Novell for
    resolution.

I did - but I did it "manually" - I ran the app in the GMS directory that
outputs the long trusted app key, and then I placed that directly into the
GMS admin console (which then does the installation into GW). Every time
I've installed the trusted app I'm told that I have the wrong version of the
POA (even if it's the exact POA that shipped with GMS <g>), but it "works"
and the trusted app key is recognized by the system.

    Here is what C:\Program Files\Intellisync Mobile Suite\PIM>GWTrustedApp.exe
    does:

I run it with my domain path and it generates the trusted app. You can see
    the trusted app in C1.

Then, I paste the long key into the GMS Admin console and click OK,
the dialog box asks for a user ID/PW.

I enter my info and click OK.

    That's when I get :

Unable to connect to GW server http://x.x.x.x:7191/soap 53509 Directory
    Services Data missing

Since the problem started occurring, have you tried deleting the trusted
application from within C1 and then running the Intellisync app again to
    recreate it?

One other thing... if you're going to delete the trusted app and recreate
it, might not hurt to rebuild the primary domain after deleting the app
but before the recreate. Just wanna make sure it's gone completely. Not
sure if doing any of that will help, but it's worth a try I guess.

    Very odd.

Okay - I would do a couple of things I guess - first off do you see the POA
object in eDirectory? Maybe try regrafting the domain/post office in case
there is something "missing". I'll ask around too.

I deleted the Intellisync trusted App and rebuilt the domain with no luck.

    The POA looks OK too.

Is there a particular tid for grafting the domain/po. I thought you can only
    graft a leaf object?
