Must enter entire user context to login to messenger???

Just completed upgrade to GW 6.5,NW 5.1,SP5, installed Messenger
    w/sp1. GW
6.5 seems to be running great. However, I must use the entire user
    context
to login.??? I am missing something really simple here...

    Assistance???

    Thanks,

    Tony ...

I had the same problem, Make sure LDAP is running and make sure it is
    configured Console1 on the service.

Re: Must enter entire user context to login to messenger???

I had this same problem and after a bit of troubleshooting, I found
    out
that I misread the instructions on setting up the user account for
messanger to access LDAP. I assigned the rights to the 7 nnm
    attributes
and browse rights at the MessengerService container instead of the
organization (or root) where they were suposed to go.

After fixing the rights, I was able to login and use Messenger just
fine. Actually, I suspect that I would have encountered other
    problems
with Messenger after having logged in with full context if I had
    played
around a bit more at that point.
