    Groupwise Messenger

    hello all,
I would like to know if there is a way to stop the Messenger client
    from
starting when a User opens up the Groupwise email client.
Thanks for any information in advance,
    Martin Reyes

That's a setting in GroupWise. Go to Tools > Options > Environment and client the General tab. There's a checkbox for launching Messenger when the GroupWise client starts.

Thanks so much for the reply. I am assuming that these are registry
    keys
that I should be looking for.
    Later,
    Martin

No, those are the menu options to select in the GroupWise client. Those options are specified in the GroupWise client, so you need to use the GroupWise Options dialog to turn them off.
    Sorry for the confusion.

In the GW Client click on Tools > Options > Environment then uncheck Launch Messenger at Startup.
