We have a few employees at a client site that is a tad restrictive on
outbound traffic. Requesting port 8300 opened on their firewall wasn't even
a consideration, The server has been reconfigured to accept traffic on 443
to make it easier for remote employees however this one client site routes
all 443 traffic through a proxy. Will a proxy configuration be added to
Messenger in a future release to allow for such scenarios? The question
would then be will instructions be written up to use a publicly trusted SSL
certificate to encrypt messenger traffic? A private untrusted SSL would
break at the proxy.
