I have done everything I can to get groupwise messenger 1sp4 reinstalled on a windows 2000 machine but I keep getting an error saying "could not find a valid language file" and then "c:\winnt\nmcl32.exe will not register".

On the run line, it was recommended i manually register it by typing the path and RegService (or something close). But this did not help.

Messenger cannot be removed from the add remove programs - and cannot be removed by using the serveripaddress:8300 webpage. But it seems to be partially removed after I ran the install from my original download location. But not fully. So I used brute force and went into regedit and tried to remove it there. I also removed groupwise so that the machine had nothing on it. I then did a fresh install of both and get the same error.
