This is a continuation of a Messenger Presence problem between the
groupwise 7 client and the Messenger Agent...Initially, when addressing an
email, the quick info would pop up and not show the messenger status, and
would generate the following error on the messenger agent console: 2B3 SPL
Request (Get Other Status) [0XB106]: CN="senders user id" OU="senders OU"
O="senders O" - Host is unknown to system. After finding a similar issue
in a different post, I followed the instructions in the installation manual
for adding a host profile. After doing this, the problem is not resolved,
but the error message on the agent console has changed. The error message
is now: 232 SPL Request (Get Other Status) [0XB103]: CN="senders user id"
OU="senders OU" O="senders O" - Requested UserID not found in directory.

All groupwise and messenger objects reside in the same tree, as do all of
my users. I am also using direct access to the directory tree, and not
LDAP. There are also no unknown users in any contact lists as was
suggested elsewhere.

Thanks for your help.
