We have multiple users that are now receiving the "The server has
experienced a directory error" message when they try to log in to their
Messenger account. We are running NM 2.0.1, and using the NM 2.0.1 client.
At the server we get the message "25A SPL Login failed [0xAD05]: <username>
- A(sic) Unspecified LDAP error was encountered". The LDAP server
configured in the LDAP profile is the same one running NM, and the one I
generally use for LDAP connections (like creating user with ICE).

We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client, as well as
unloading and reloading NM at the server, with no change in the problem.

From what I can tell, if you have your client configured to auto-login
everythign works properly. However, if you need to manually login you get
the error. For example, I am currently logged in fine. If I go to "File /
Log Out" and try to "Click here to log in as a different user", even if I
use my existing ID and password I get the error. However, if I "<username>
Click here to log in" I get in without problems.

Any ideas?
