I live in Michigan. A local head hunter told me that the unemployement
rate among IT people here in Michigan was about 2%. When I expressed my
surprise, he told me that low number was due to the large number of IT
people who've moved out of the area, or changed careers.

Thud (or rimshot for the "joke").

So, I'm toying with the idea of applying for jobs out of state.

I noticed that the State of Montana alone has about a dozen Novell jobs for
which I'd be qualified. I'm assuming that Wyoming might be in the same
boat. Anyone have experience w/ these areas?

And, anyone know of other hot spots for IT jobs?
