On the Novell website, there is this statement:
"Distance replication, including disaster recovery and geographic data

What does this statement mean?

I'd like to replicate a volume between servers across our WAN so that the
users can read and write from their local server, but the servers keep the
files synchronized for each site.

I've looked at rsync, but it seems to compare the volumes rather than
monitoring changes in real-time. Therefore a large volume wouldn't approach
real-time synchronization across the WAN sites.

iFolder sounds close to what I want - but a message in their forum indicates
that it is designed for client-server rather than server-server.

I'm preparing to upgrade our servers to OES linux. It'd be nice if I could
improve access speeds at the same time.
