Installed patches on one of our OES servers today. Previously ran patches
on Jan 22,
so didn't have many patches to get this time. I suspect that the
novell-netstorage upgrade package may have broken my NSS volumes. After
installing all the patches, the NSS volumes were not accessible. I rebooted
the server and it reported 'new hardware found' - I forgot to write down the
exact error message, but I think it was cciss/c0d1 - and it brought me into
YAST partitioner.

/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 /boot
/dev/cciss/c0d0p2 swap
/dev/cciss/c0d0p3 /
/dev/cciss/c0d1p1 Novell Netware
/dev/evms/POOL1 EVMS

all of c0d0 seems to be okay.
either NSS or EVMS seems to be inaccessible

when I click on the YAST EVMS configurator, it shows

(not sure why this refers to c0d0 instead of c0d1)

before I make my situation worse, how should I go about fixing my NSS
