Okay, so we've patched, and patched, and patched, and we're still have short term alloc memory errors on a server that only does Apache to allow a few users to access NetStorage (on an average day maybe 250 people log in to use NetStorage).

The server has been taken from SP2 to SP3 to SP3 + all post-SP3 patches and finally to SP4a. The server still only runs for about a day before it starts posting the following error:

12-05-2005 10:33:22 pm: SERVER-5.70-0
Severity = 5 Locus = 1 Class = 1
Short term memory allocator is out of memory.
1 attempts to get more memory failed.
request size in bytes 1362187129 from Module NCPL.NLM

We're now using Veritas NetBackup and we'll get this error regardless of the NetBackup client status (loaded/unloaded). We've also used the -u switch and all recommendations from TID #10091980 and sent the SEG.NLM results to Novell (with no response yet).

Anybody have any ideas?
