My apache server is hung waiting for one thread to finish, has been hung
since yesterday. The server console screen is hung, so I spawned a new
one and scheduled an early-morning reboot with cron, but it didn't fire.
My two questions are:
1) Is there a way to kill a hung thread in netware (similar to killing a
task in Windows)?
2) When you spawn a new console screen in netware, is everything you load
from that console in a separate memory space? Is that why when I
reloaded cron the server didn't reboot?
3) How do other people schedule a reboot - is cron the recommended method?

Thanks. Running netware 6.5sp4a.
