I am running SBS 6.0 sp4 server on a new Dell Poweredge 830 server with
one gig of ram. When running Tape backup with ARCSERVE 7.0 it has been
hanging the server every once and a while while doing archiveing I
believe. I have been trying the TIDS that inform how to increase backup
performance but I have a question. I read where I am supposed to watch
Novells Monitor for the Directory Cache bufers, but it is always at
Zero. It nevers goes above that.

Is that good or is there a setting that I have wrong?

I was also wondering - When using SET commands and they = something is
there a space between the equal?

Example: Buffers=1 or Buffers = 1

Just wondering,
