Hi All.

I have a customer with two 6.5 clusters (SP5) with 4GB memory that were
hanging between 45 and 90 days. Memcalc did not help. Fragmentation was
around 33MB. I applied latest patches (OS5A and NSS5A), ran for a week and
did memcalc and appled changes. Been up for 38 days but fragmentation is now
at 600+MB and growing (segatats below). I'm scared.
Background --These are file servers that provide data used for document
distribution. 30+ servers are scanning each cluster looking for jobs to
run. 4+ million jobs are run from each cluster in 24 hours. There is a
common "job completed" database so client caching is OFF on both client and
server.
Any help appreciated. Oh and by the way, when my customer originally tried
using an MS operating system product for this, he hit a ceiling of 45K jobs
a day!! NETWARE ROCKS!
