I have two NetWare 6.5 SP5 servers that loose IP connectivity after one to
two days. Existing connections continue to function, however, new
connections cannot be made.

I cannot ping its default gateway, I cannot ping the IP bound to the card,
and I cannot ping

One of the Servers is only a File Server, the other is our Groupwise

We only have two NW6.0 servers (the other 8 are NW6.5) and these two are
the only ones exhibiting the failure.

Interesting note... during an outage, TCPCON shows both IP and TCP
Received/Sent as increasing. Monitor is showing around 150 people logged in
with approx 4,200 open files.

CPU Utilization is a nominal 1-4%. Packet Recieve buffers are at the
minimum defined, well under the maximum. I have applied the Post-SP5 TCP
patch. The problem started before the patch and remained after.

At this point, I don't know what to do next (troubleshooting steps /
settings ).... any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
