Hi,

not an abend, but a hang:

First time it happened on Feb 10th. One of three servers
NW6.0-SP was not reachable any longer, no ping was possible
at all. The server itself seemed to be ok from looking
through all console-screens, i.e. no abend was visible. I
rebooted the server and everything was fine again (besides
me loosing a server with 354 days uptime).

Until Feb 17th. Same happened again. When looking through
the console-screens everything seemed to be ok again, only
the GWAVA-SMTP-Relay-Agent-Screen said something about
"failed socket connection". When I did a startx to have a
closer look with Remote-Manager the server jammed and had to
be pulled down with the debugger. Again there is no abend
visible. Only the system-error-log showes the following:

17.02.2007 15.58.52 : NTFYSRVR-3.0-0
Severity = 2 Locus = 17 Class = 2
ENS Warning: Lost connection to SRS. Reconnecting...

.... an so on.

The server holds our Groupwise-System with GW6.0-SP4
(besides Zenworks 3.2-SP3) and got GWAVA installed around
two weeks ago. Since both run fine from what I see I suppose
a misconfiguration inside Netware.

If this happens again, what would be the best approach to
find out the root of this problem?

Sincerely

Karl
