Hi everyone.

Just recieved a new IBM x3650 server with ServeRaid 8k. Nice machine,
and got it up and running this saturday with Netware 6.5 SP6.

The ServeRaid uses the aacraid.ham driver and we use BackupExec 9.2 for
netware.

The server abended each time we tried to backup up our data. After
reading the thread by mathers@fas.harvard.edu dated "07-25-2007" found
here: http://tinyurl.com/2k32bw and commenting out ACPIDRV.PSM in
STARTUP.NCF the server has stopped abend during backup.

It seems that this resolved the problem, like noted in the other
thread.

My question is: what impact does it have on the server that ACPIDRV.PSM
isn't loaded?
Can it be expected that aacraid.ham is fixed sometime soon. I haven't
been able to retrieve an ABEND-log since it is the disk driver which
abends.

STARTUP.NCF with ACPIDRV.PSM commented out
