I'm having problems with some files that contain Japanese characters. It
works fine on the local machine, but when they try to move it to the server
they get some error message like 'Cannot create or replace : No mapping for
the Unicode character exists in the target multi-byte code page.'

Novell's knowledgebase says that it's a windows code-page problem, but that
isn't it. If I scp the files up to my oes-linux box, they go just fine.
If I then try to copy them to the nss volume (through the shell), I get a
similar error message and it won't create the files on the nss volume.
I've tried mounting the nssvols with different namespaces (so far i've
tried it with the default, using long, and using unix), and it doesn't
work. What is the work-around for this?
