I have OES-9-i386-SP2 server configured as follows:

/etc/slp.conf
net.slp.useScopes = SCOPE1,SCOPE2
net.slp.DAAddresses = 192.168.101.132,192.168.101.123
net.slp.passiveDADetection = false
net.slp.activeDADetection = false
net.slp.interfaces = 192.168.101.161

where:
SCOPE1,SCOPE2 are scope names where I want services to be registered
192.168.101.132 and 123 are DA's from NetWare 6.5 SP5 in the same
eDirectory tree

Daemon slpd is running, there is no firewall or any other traffic
blocking between DA's and this host.

Because eDirectory is installed on this hosts, slp is also configured
in: /etc/sysconfig/edirectory
CONFIG_EDIR_TREE_NAME="TREE_NAME"
CONFIG_EDIR_TREE_TYPE="existing"
CONFIG_EDIR_LOCAL_IP="192.168.101.161"
CONFIG_EDIR_EXISTING_IP="192.168.101.125"
CONFIG_EDIR_EXISTING_NCP_PORT="524"
CONFIG_EDIR_EXISTING_LDAP_SECURE_PORT="636"
CONFIG_EDIR_ALL_STATIC_IP="192.168.101.161"
CONFIG_EDIR_ADMIN_CONTEXT="cn=admin.o=corp"
CONFIG_EDIR_SERVER_CONTEXT="ou=servers.ou=hq.o=cor p"
CONFIG_EDIR_DIB_LOCATION="/var/nds/dib"
CONFIG_EDIR_LDAP_PORT="389"
CONFIG_EDIR_LDAP_SECURE_PORT="636"
CONFIG_EDIR_HTTP_PORT="8028"
CONFIG_EDIR_HTTPS_PORT="8030"
CONFIG_EDIR_NTP_SERVER="192.168.101.125"
CONFIG_EDIR_SLP_MODE="da"
CONFIG_EDIR_SLP_DA="192.168.101.132;192.168.101.12 3"
CONFIG_EDIR_SLP_SCOPES="SCOPE1,SCOPE2"

The problem is services do not register in specified scopes.

If I install OES Linux with no eDirectory and default slpd.conf some
services register to DEFAULT scope on above mentioned DA's. Is SLP on
OES Linux broken ? How can I force it to work correctly ?

Peter
