I've installed OES (Linux) SP2 and repeatedly see the following messages in
the log files and the CPU utilization is consistently high.

Dec 13 04:59:58 FBOEFS01 novell-xsrvd-1[28111]: XSrvD -ServiceConnections-
Unable to bind socket, error = 13
Dec 13 04:59:59 FBOEFS01 novell-xsrvd-3[28112]: XSrvD -ServiceConnections-

Dec 13 05:00:00 FBOEFS01 novell-xsrvd-9[28162]: XSrvD -ServiceConnections-
Unable to bind socket, error = 13
Dec 13 05:00:00 FBOEFS01 novell-xsrvd-2[28188]: XSrvD -ServiceConnections-
Unable to bind socket, error = 13
Dec 13 05:00:00 FBOEFS01 [XTCOM]: novell-xsrvd: Server re-started after it
terminated unexpectedly

The server is a a virtual server and so I had the time drift problem
reported with VMware and OES. To get around that problem I run a cronjob
every two minutes that restarts the NTP service. I came across a TID
(http://www.novell.com/support/search...%200%201948201)
that mentioned date changes causing 100% utilization of novell-xsrvd. I do
not think this TID is relevant in my case as the NTP service is already
pointing to physical machine, and for the fact that I have installed 6
other servers with similar settings and none of them have this utilization
problem. Also, NSS is installed if that is of any importance.

Thank you in advance.
