We are migrating from NW 6.5 SP4 to OES Linux. We are looking at what is
involved in Linux enabling all of our users (400+). Part of Linux
enabling users is assigning a primary group, which is the concern at hand.

If I use iManager and select a group of users, they all must be assigned
the same primary group, which does not make sense to me.

Are we supposed to enable our users one at a time? Is there some other
way of enabling users and making their primary groups match their user
names (or better put, making their GID match their UID)?

According to the Server Consolidation and Migration Guide the nambulkadd
is no longer used--iManager should be used (frankly, I don't know if
nambulkadd would address this issue anyway--I'm just pointing out
nambulkadd is not an option).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
