I have been working with OES Linux for about two years now, and have never
really faced this situation so I wanted to see what others have done. I
have a question regarding the Samba server setup on OES Linux. When I
configure it, should I just be using the Samba server Icon in YAST to
configure the server and to setup the server shares, etc.? Or does the
Novell Samba Icon do all of that for me? I would appreciate any help that
anyone can offer, I have normally just used the Novell Client on a Linux
machine, or Windows, to get connected to the OES Linux server, so a little
hazy on this part. Also Does using the NCP server provide any benefits
over Samba or NSS volumes? Thank you for any help that you can offer.
