We would like to use DNS in a clustered configuration. The DNS_Template
object defines mount device /dev/evms/named and mount point /mnt/named,
and then proceeds to script a mount command mounting the device to the

Using iManager I create a pool "named" that creates /dev/evms/named, and
then I create a volume and configure the volume to be mounted on
/mnt/named. Yet when I try to mount the /dev/evms/named on /mnt/named, it
fails. I see an entry in /var/log/messages "mount: /dev/evms/named
already mounted or /mnt/named busy mount: according to mtab
/dev/evms/named is mounted on /opt/novell/nss/mnt/.pools/named"

Is there some other method by which I should be creating the device and
mount point? I don't believe I need to use an NSS volume for this, but on
the other hand I believe I must use EVMS, so I can't simply create a
partition using fdisk and then mount that to a mount point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
