Is it common practice to do a rug pin --entire-channel against a newly
built server? I am seeing 452 patches that will be installed, and that
seems excessive, even if the server has never been patched.

On the other hand, looking at the output of rug patch-list there is little
useful information, even if I use --verbose. It simply provides the patch
number and whether it applies to SUSE Core or Open Enterprise Server.
There's no information to help in determining how imperative the patch is
or is not.

What is the general consensus out there?
