On Netware there was an NCP Watchdog, that would check to see if
workstations wer e still connected and drop their connection if they
didn't respond to the watchdog packet. Is there an equivalent feature for
OES Linux? For example, if one of our user's workstations locks up and
requires a hard reboot, the files they had open on the Netware server will
unlock within about 10 minutes so they can get back in to them. On our
OES Linux server, we've noticed that waiting an *hour* isn't enough time
for the old connection to drop, and we have to go into Remote Manager and
manually kill the old connection before they can access their files again.
