Saving a users my documents to a home diectory

Is there a way to save a users "my documents" directory of the local
workstation to a home directory on the server. If so how do i configure
    the user to do so?
    Please help. Thank you

Take a look at iFolder: http://www.novell.com/products/ifolder/.

If you are using windows Xp it is very easy, left click on my documents
folder, select properties and under the target tab select move and tell
it where you want the new my documents folder to be. It will even ask
if you want all of the documents moved to the new location.

    Hope that helps
