I had this problem a couple of months ago, then again at the end of last
month. Available memory was really low and the amount of RAM dsloader.nlm
was using was really high. I re-started the server and began keeping a
daily record of available memory and dsloader consumption. Here are the
results:

Date Mem DSLoader

8-31 216 380,928
9-1 211 339,968
9-2 209 372,736

9-6 206 438,272
9-7 203 380,928
9-8 202 393,216
9-9 203 385,024

9-12 203 376,832
9-13 205 393,216
9-14 198 368,640
9-15 202 344,064
9-16 191 13,565,952
187 14,159,872 8:30
186 15,925,248 9:45

Note that, until yesterday morning, dsloader was using no more than about
1/3 of a megabyte, more or less. Since yesterday morning, it has gone up
drematically and has added over two megabytes in the last two hours.

I can't think of any changes that have heen made in the last day.
