    Migrate server to new hardware

    Hello all,

I was after some general advice please. We have a NW6.5 server
(BorderManager)which is running on some fairly old hardware and has
    numerous issues.

What I would like to do is migrate our BM server from the current HDD to a
new one and ultimately into a new server.

Is the migration tool a valid option or are there better ways of doing
    this? I've heard mixed results.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks and regards,
    Jason

Yes, the Migration Wizard is one possible way to do this.
Another option would be to perform a hardware upgrade, check
    out TIDs 10088663 and 10085160.

i like trustee.nlm _much_ more than trustbar (but usually run both just
    to be safe)...

just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they're not out to get
    you.

    :-)

besides, it saves having to go to the tapes...
