We are currently looking to curtail the file rights for our helpdesk staff in order to comply with the Data Protection Act. Currently the helpdesk are creating/deleting user accounts (with home dirs), performing restores using Backup Exec and performing disk space management functions.

We looked into the Role Based stuff a while ago when we were at NetWare 6.0 - we are now running NetWare 6.5. Is the role based stuff any better/more functional in 6.5.

Really, the question I am asking is "How do you guys do it"? Is there an all singing and dancing 3rd party util that can help or is there another solution to this?
