I have one login script attached to my tree container. From within the
script, I call several batch files that copy files to the local
workstations as follows:

IF MEMBER OF "GROUP1" THEN
#\\myserver\sys\public\mybatch.bat
END

This has always worked perfectly and so quickly that you could barely
notice the dos window pop open as the batch file runs. All the files that
are copied to the workstation were no more than 20K total.

Anyway, I modified one of the batch files to copy another file to the
local workstations. This file is about 350K. Now, at every login from
every workstation, the login script takes more than two minutes to
complete.

Should a 300K file make that much of a difference?

Is there a better way of doing this?

Thanx.
