Netware 6.5 SP2
iManager 2.02 - 2.6

iManager consistently impossible to launch.
It's been like this for years, in dusins of servers, with iManager versions from 1.5 to 2.6.
And I'm tired and frustrated of it all...

As of now I have 16 Netware 6.5 SP2 servers.
Miraculously I'm able to launch iManager 2.5 on one of them, and one single only.
But if this precious server is restarted, iManager no longer works on that server either.
Then I have to stop all Apache and Tomcat services, and thereafter restart all these
services manually, in the right order, and with controlled delays and monitoring,
to revive the iManager launch.

The other 15 servers are impossible to use for iManager, no matter how many times
I install it, and no matter what version i try.

Now I have also tried the "Mobile iManager 2.6" on my Win XP SP2 workstation,
with all the latest WinXP updates applied, and NW Client 4.91 SP2 with NMAS and all the
latest patches up to date applied.

The Mobile iManager 2.6 actually launches (can you beleive it?),
and I'm even able to log into eDir ( as Admin.
And I have installed all the latest iManager 2.6 plugins (for my environment).
But as soon as I actually access any object (i.e. a printer), the trouble begins.
No action can be performed, but only ugly errors messages appear:

If I access a printer object:
"Could not login for com.novell.service.ndps.eMFrameStartup.
[Root exception is com.novell.service.jncp.ClientException: ccode =
34841 (0x8819)] Login failed."
(iPrint plugin for Netware: v2.0.3.20060418)

If I access a user object:
"The LDAP Extensions required by this plugin have not been installed on the target server.
Either the version of NMAS is out of date or NMAS was not installed properly."
(LDAP mgmt plugin: 2.5.20050726)
(NMAS plugin: 10.0.20050920)
(NMAS client on admin wks: v3.2.0.16)

How can NetWare / eDir management be done without any reliable tool
that covers all the needs? C1 works, but far from it covers my admin tasks.

So what is basically wrong with iManager?
What am I to do?
