Good Morning

I have a nasty little problem using HS to get data from a access mdb on a
novel network.

Normally I get data from the mdb via a mapped drive. Which is fine because
I am logged into the Novel Network(and my logon creditals are valid for
the novel fileserver with the mdb on it). However When I set up the odbc
DSN It does not
ask anywhere for my novel network credentials, which is not a problem when
I use this ODBC DSN from any microsoft application as it somehow seems
to know them for the mapped drive or the full path.
(ie O:/data or \\Kap3\DATA1\WinPics\PICS\data)

However as soon as I try to use the ODBC DSN from within ORACLE, it would
appear, that oracle knows nothing about my Novel Logon Creditals or
windows logon information and access to the file server is denied.

If I copy the mdb to my loacl hard drive and change the DSN it all work

I have set the oracle Listner Process to start with a username and password
the same as my Novel network one

Anyone gor any idears?
